GNA Chair

Lyndsay King

Lyndsay King is a dedicated and passionate leader in the netball community, serving as the Chair of Glasgow Netball Association. With a deep-rooted love for the sport and a commitment to its growth, Lyndsay plays a pivotal role in shaping the direction of the association, ensuring it thrives both on and off the court.

Lyndsay oversees the strategic development of the league, fostering inclusivity, excellence, and community engagement. Her leadership ensures that players, coaches, officials, and volunteers are supported, and that the association continues to provide high-quality netball opportunities for all.

Lyndsay is widely regarded as one of the top umpires in Scottish netball. Her expertise has earned her selection to officiate in the prestigious VSL, as well as multiple international tournaments. Beyond her on-court excellence, Lyndsay is deeply committed to developing the next generation of umpires, providing mentoring, tutoring, and assessment services for Netball Scotland. Through her dedication and professionalism, she has quickly become one of the most recognized and respected umpires in Scotland.

With a strong background in Netball, Lyndsay continues to drive innovation and progress within the association, ensuring that netball remains a vibrant and accessible sport for future generations.

GNA Treasurer

Karen Thompson

The treasurer is responsible for the financial management of the league. The treasurer’s duties also involve managing the league’s budget, overseeing income and expenditures, and ensuring that all financial transactions are properly documented and authorised. Additionally, the treasurer handles the collection of membership fees, as well as processing payments for league expenses such as equipment, facilities, and events.

GNA Secretary

Hannah Pugh

The secretary of the league is responsible for a wide range of administrative and organisational tasks that ensure the smooth running of the league. This includes managing correspondence, preparing and distributing meeting agendas, and taking accurate minutes during league meetings. The secretary maintains and updates official league records, including contact information for league members, teams, and officials.

GNA Wellbeing & Protection Officer

Frances Cathcart

The Wellbeing and Protection Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety, welfare, and overall well-being of all participants within the league. This role involves developing and implementing policies and procedures that promote a safe and supportive environment for players, coaches, officials, and volunteers.

Adult League Coordinator

Lee Dallas

The League Coordinator is responsible for the overall management and smooth operation of the league, including tasks such as coordinating fixtures and schedules, overseeing team registrations, handling communication with clubs, ensuring compliance with league rules and regulations and addressing any issues or disputes that arise.

Technical Umpiring

Lynne Gordon

Technical Umpiring is responsible for the allocation and management of umpires, which includes tasks such as scheduling named umpires for all league matches. This role involves organising the mentor program to continue to grow our umpire pool. Additionally, it involves handling any conflicts or disputes related to umpiring.

GNA Squads

Sheryl Braidwood

The squads coordinator is responsible for overseeing the district squads, which involves coordinating all aspects of squad management and ensuring the smooth functioning of each team. This includes tasks such as selecting squad members through trials and evaluations, organising and scheduling regular training sessions, and ensuring that all players receive appropriate coaching and support

Junior League Coordinator

Kira Hampson

The Junior League Coordinator is responsible for the overall running of the junior league and junior events. This includes tasks such as overseeing team registrations, organisation of the divisions, handling the communication with clubs and ensuring compliance with the junior league rules.

GNA League Committee

The League Committee is responsible for the administration of all divisions, including the review of IC Sheets, verification of score entries, and maintenance of League Republic. Additionally, the Committee reviews and adjudicates all complaints received by the league coordinator to ensure a fair and impartial resolution in accordance with GNA League rules
